Marc D. Dolce, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Marc D. Dolce is a native of Sandusky, Ohio and a 1987 graduate of Perkins High School. He graduated, cum laude, from Bowling Green State University in 1992 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Dolce is a 1999 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his PSR-24 surgical residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
He is a Former Chair Department of Podiatric Surgery, Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and maintains a private practice in Norwalk, Ohio.
Dr. Dolce's professional interests are in the area of diabetic limb salvage surgery as well as small joint arthroscopy. He has lectured on a multitude of surgical topics at the national level. Dr. Dolce has conducted several research projects in conjunction with the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine including an award winning ACFAS poster presentation entitled; "Core Decompression: A novel approach for treating avascular necrosis of the second metatarsal." He has published journal articles including: The use of Distal Symes Amputation in the treatment of onychopathy. He has also authored a chapter in Principle and Practice of Podiatric Medicine: Complications in Podiatric Surgery.
